Home

Bow Comeback went home today. Actually, she went to the office, but more about that later.

This is the day every foster parent works towards from the first moment they say, "Sure, I will foster a (insert pet, child)." It is the day when the foster dog gets a forever home. Today Bow found her forever home with Sue, Jackson - another retired greyhound, a Yorkshire terrier, and a parrot.

To say that Bow has found an amazing home is an understatement. Sue owns Animal Krackers, a pet store in Bridgeville, PA and has had 5 other greyhounds in her life. As a matter of fact, she lost BeBe just last week. BeBe was also a brood mama, so Bow's timing was perfect.

Bow will be going to work with Sue and the rest of the family. If you are in the neighborhood stop by and say "Hi" to Sue and Bow. Tell them Lydia sent you.

Bow will be living near Frick Park, where Sue meets up with a lot of other greyhound buddies for walks and get-togethers. She will be living a dream retirement. Which she deserves, because she has worked hard all of her life.

Hooray for Sue and Bow! It couldn't have happened to a nicer couple.

This is Bow's adopted brother, Jackson, doing what he does. Brilliantly.

Sparkles

One of the wonderful things about Bow's beautiful brindle coat is that it sparkles in the early morning sunlight. It looks like someone dusted it with glitter. She is a lovely girl.
