We had a family outing to PNC Park on Saturday evening. We walked down to the park with Bow, Rio & Wavorly to enjoy a lovely evening stroll by the river. As it turned out it was also the night the Philadelphia Phillies were playing the Pirates with the largest crowd on record at PNC Park.
Needless to say walking with 3 greyhounds is bound to attract some attention. Rio & Wavorly are used to being in crowds. We were curious to see how Bow would do.
She was cautious but tolerant of the strangers who came up to her to pet her. She met people of all ages, from children to adults. While she chose to hang back while Rio met people, she did not shy away from those who approached her. All in all she did very well in this new environment. I think as she gains more experience with crowds she will relax more and enjoy the attention.
