Company

Bow Comeback's second day was much quieter. It started out with a lovely walk in the neighborhood park. She met Paula, a crossing guard who always has a treat or two for the dogs who stop by to say "Hi!" Bow walked very well with Rio, but found it a bit hard to keep pace with him for a long walk.

She spent most of the day resting upstairs in her spot in the office. Only once in the evening did she spend a half hour with the rest of us on the first floor. In the afternoon we had a small nap together.

She met our next door neighbor, Dave, and would have bolted out of the front door if she were given the chance. We are going to have to be very careful opening that door. We also had Grant's parents come visit for the weekend. Bow made sure to say hello to everyone and give them a chance to pet her.

We also left her alone with Rio & Wavorly when we went out for dinner. She seemed to do fine. I suspect Bow spent most of the time on the second floor.

She really enjoyed her evening walk. She took the lead up front for most of the walk. She is so delightful on leash. She stayed by my side in a perfect "heel" with a very loose leash. She didn't seem too interested in the other dogs we passed on the walk but found the kids playing basketball very interesting.

Right now she is sleeping behind me.
